de Wilds in Tauranga
Hi Family & Friends
This page is especially for you, to keep you up to date with what we're up, the who's, what's and how's of Tauranga.
2010 - March
Yes - Paul's newest build project is in the water.
The new JP54 design looks terrific, with some photos of her launching and the stepping of the mast available in my albums.
Last month Stephen started his first full time job and we wish him the best for this new step in life.
2010 - January
A new year is upon us and I'm settled into my new home office looking forward to the year ahead.
Last year was an interesting one with my corneal transplant in March and a year of study at the local Bay of Plenty Polytechnic.
2009 saw Paul change employers and he is now Project Manager/Construction Manager at Pachoud Yachts, Sulphur Point, Tauranga.
He is building the new and excitingly innovative designed JP54 racer/cruiser yacht for Jean Pierre Dick's company Absolute Dreamer.
And it's certainly great to be back working with this great group of people. (Paul was the construction manager for Jean Pierre's Open 60 Paprec Virbac II at Southern Ocean Marine in 2007, which he sailed with JP and Rob Neeley to Panama on it's delivery voyage back to France)
Stephen continues at the local Trade & Commerce doing a Hospitality Course but really must consider leaving soon and finding a full time job and making his place in the world.
Kali continues to excel at Bethlehem College with great marks and enthusiasum to work. Her constant drawings and artwork is a delight and shows her artistic potential. Check out her artwork here
Me - well, currently I probably spend far too much time on Facebook but then it's become an amazing network to meet and greet friends old and new, and for people who know me, you know I love to socialise and spend time with my friends!
2008 - July
Paul and I have just shared a whirlwind holiday of Europe, courtesy of him going to Spain to launch and commission his latest build "Telefonica Black"
Below is a copy of our photobook, a record of our trip, the places we went and the people we shared our time with.
To our family and friends who hosted us, a big thank you
